Description

Clash of Steel is based on an alternative history where the war in Europe finishes in 1944 with the surrender of Germany, but restarts just four years later in the face of Soviet aggression. Players take to the tabletop, fielding their chosen force in epic tank-on-tank combat using highly detailed multi-part plastic miniatures; battling over objectives in an attempt to control the battlefield and defeat their enemies!

In early 1943 Allied forces began to look at what types of fortifications they were likely to encounter once they landed in Europe. It was expected that in order to defeat these positions a new type of specialist vehicle with heavy armour and a “bunker busting” gun would be required. Tortoise assault tanks were born.
